Monday bazaar days continue to be a draw!
Día de Muertos:Early this month thanks to Carmita and volunteers, we displayed our altar to those who have worked for the organization and since passed on! The home altar remembers the deeceased with photos and any special reminders of how they have affected the Food Bank. This is what our first altar looked like.

Volunteering:If you are interested in volunteering there are many possibilities but remember you can be on your feet for 2 hours doing a variety of things. These would include accepting, sorting, pricing and putting donations for display and sale. Hopefully you will practce your spanish for the time you are there. There are 3 of us that you will connect with: Kay (cleaning, sorting, placing donations for sale), Jody( is our money man) and Sharon (all duties as assigned and spokeperson for the Food Bank)..
Thank you to those supporters who have donated items for the Christmas hampers. it is very much appreciated.
