I had the opportunity to meet and visit with a family from Utah, all 12 of them. What a delightful and happy family.
We met up at the Muelle Market and after shopping, we went to Chicxulub and visited Mi hermano esta en casa (my brother is in the house), the new home of the Food Bank. It was enjoyable to show off our new digs and talk about all the energy and work that has gone into the house and what the program has accomplished over the past 15 years.
We then walked through Chicxulub to get a sense of how the folks live here and then to the school, Andres Quintana Roo to visit and again meet some of the students, teachers and volunteers in the English program.
It was an interesting visit for all. Thanks Deborah et al.
